Kissamatto (Cat Mat) on väritetty lyijykynäpiirros ja kuvan on tehnyt englantilainen Sarah J. Venus (s. 1958). Kaksi aika villin väristä ja kuvioista kissaa istuu matolla. Ne ehkä haaveilevat maton ylä- ja alareunassa olevista värikkäistä, pilkullisista kaloista. Kuvassa on monenlaisia kuvioita, mutta se on silti tasapainoinen ja harmoninen, kun värejä on kuitenkin vain muutama: vihreä, keltainen, ruskea, punainen ja musta.

Cat Mat is a coloured pencil drawing and it was done by English Sarah J. Venus (b.1958). Two rather wild looking and coloured cats sit on a mat. Perhaps they are dreaming about the colourful, spotted fish at the bottom and upper side of the mat. There are many kind of patterns in the picture, but still it is balanced and harmonious when there are only a few colours: green, yellow, brown, red, and black.
I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
